| Welcome to the Elk Grove's Online Document Retrieval System. |
| This system will allow you to search all the Village's ordinances and |

| resolutions as well as the minutes of previous Village Board meetings |
| for references to the topic of your choice. |

When you "Click here to continue," |
 |
| |
the following login screen will appear. |
| |
Fill in the user name and password |
| |
with the word "public". Click in the |
| |
box "Request full text search". |
| |
Click "Login". |
| |

Next, double-click the group of documents that you want to search. |
| |
(Village Board Meeting Minutes or Ordinances). |
| |

Select from the drop down list the "Doc Type" you wish to search. |
| |

Enter a date (mm-dd-yyyy format). Or click on the  icon to |
| |
enter a range of dates. Or click on the  icon to enter a list of dates. |
| |
Click the "Submit" button when all search criteria is entered. |
| |

If using the "Full-Text Query Criteria", avoid specifying apostrophes, |
| |
commas, or other special characters in your search criteria. |
| |

If the search results display several pages of documents, use the |
| |
navigation icons  to move from one page of |
| |
documents to another. |
| |

To open a document from the Search Results screen, double click |
| |
anywhere on the line that displays the document you want to view. |
| |
The document will appear or the following screen will appear. |
| |

Click on the document name to view (render) or download and save |
| |
the document. |
