I HAVE A SUNKEN DRIVEWAY APRON. HOW CAN I GET IT REPLACED?
Driveway aprons are private property. They allow access from the public street to the individuals' private driveway and garage. As private property, aprons are the financial responsibility of the individual homeowner for maintenance or replacement.

Many owners of older homes have driveway aprons which have sunken over time. In other cases, driveway aprons are attached to older "rolled" style curbs, which create a dip when entering or leaving the driveway. The Village offers a Private Participation Concrete Replacement Program to assist residents in addressing these concerns.

This program pools private concrete work with municipal work so residents can obtain the Village's low bid pricing. Any resident desiring to participate in the program can contact the Public Works Department at (847) 734-8800 or view the Public Works section of this web site.
