Peter Cetera will perform a special 4th of July concert at Community Park (164 Lions Drive, East of Lions Park) to be followed by the Lions Club of Elk Grove Village Fireworks display.

From 1968-86 Peter was the singer, songwriter, and bass player for the rock group “Chicago”. During that time, they recorded 18 albums, including such hits as “If You Leave Me Now”, “Hard to Say I’m Sorry”, “Baby What a Big Surprise”, “You’re the Inspiration”, “Stay the Night”, “Love Me Tomorrow”, and “Feeling Stronger Every Day”. As a solo artist Peter has recorded 10 CD’s including his #1 hits, the Academy Award nominated “The Glory of Love” from the movie “The Karate Kid II”, “The Next Time I Fall” with Amy Grant, “Feels Like Heaven” with Chaka Kahn", “No Explanation” from the film, “Pretty Woman” and the unforgettable “Restless Heart”.
