Proposed CCSD59 Administration Building at 1001 Leicester will be considered at July 18 Village Board Meeting
The Elk Grove Village Plan Commission, acting as a Zoning Commission, conducted a Public Hearing on Monday, June 26, 2017 to consider the petition of Community Consolidated School District 59 for a Special Use Permit for the operation of an Administration Building in an R-3 Single Family Residential District.
After hearing testimony from the petitioner and the public, the Plan Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of the Special Use for the property located at 1001 Leicester Road, Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
The Village Board will be discussing this item under the Plan Commission section of the agenda at the July 18, 2017 Village Board Meeting. The meeting will take place at 4:30 PM in Council Chambers at the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Complex, 901 Wellington Avenue.
This meeting has an early start time to accommodate a Mid-Summer Classics Concert on the Village Green. Normally at the July meeting, the Village Board takes no public comment; however, due to the nature of this subject, the Village Board will make an exception for this topic only and accept public comment prior to taking action on this item.
Parking for the Board Meeting will be available across the street in the Park District Pavilion lot at 1001 Wellington Avenue. If you require handicapped parking, this will be accommodated in the lot behind Fire Station #7, which can be accessed from Commercial Drive.
