Village Approves Annexation for Residential Development
On Tuesday, March 27, the Village Board approved the annexation of property commonly known as 751 Meacham and 1050 Home Avenue for the purposes of a residential development, including 29 townhomes and 3 single-family homes. The Plan Commission recommended approved of the petitions for annexation, zoning and subdivision following two public hearings held on November 13, 2017, and February 12, 2018.
The 5 townhome buildings consisting of 29 total units will be built along a cul de sac to be constructed on the vacant property known as 751 Meacham. Two single-family homes will be built on the vacant property located at 1050 Home Avenue. Additionally, as part of the annexation agreement, the developer has purchased a vacant residential lot from the Village in order to construct a single-family home at 1 W Glenn Trail.
