As an Elk Grove resident or business owner, you undoubtedly experience the noise and pollution of O'Hare Airport on a daily basis. You may have even called to register complaints in the past only to feel as if your comments were falling on deaf ears. Fortunately this does not have to be the case on every occasion. As United States citizens you have the right and ability to contact your State and Federal elected officials to voice your concerns regarding the expansion of O'Hare Airport.
In order to make your voice heard you may write or call your State and Federal representatives at the addresses and numbers listed below, Ultimately, the decision on whether or not to expand O'Hare will be a decision made in Springfield through the General Assembly However, that does not mean that local input will not be an important factor, Therefore, the Village of Elk Grove encourages you to contact your local representatives and voice your concerns about O'Hare expansion and the need for a third regional airport.
