As part of the Village's continuing support of recycling, Waste Management will be picking up live Christmas trees on resident's regular garbage/recycling day from January 4th through January 15, 2010. Residents are asked to remove all plastic bags, ornaments, lights, and nails from the trees before placing them out for recycling. |
The Village will also be recyling unwanted/non-operating Holiday string lights and extension cords. Recycled items may be brought to the Department of Health and Community Services Office located in the Village Municipal Complex, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. until February 15, 2010. No wreaths, garlands, or live Christmas items accepted. |
