 Must be at least 21 years of age as of 4/27/2008, and less than 35 years of age as of hire date.
•
 Must be a US citizen as of April 27, 2008.
•
 Must have 60 semester college credit hours from an accredited college. Credit hours must be
  completed by August 31, 2008.
•
 Must be legally eligible to operate a motor vehicle in Illinois.
•
 Must be in excellent health and have good vision.
•
 Must be of good character.
•
 Must speak English.

 Session Choice: AM Session (8:00 a.m. - approx. 2:00 p.m.)
    PM Session (11:15 a.m. - approx. 5:00 p.m.)
Times will be assigned on a "first-registered, first-choice basis". Time assignment confirmations will be mailed on Friday,
April 18th. Spouses and significant others are welcome to attend the orientation; no children please.
Only applicants will be permitted in the testing areas.
 
Mail-in Registration: Complete registration form on line, print it out, and mail (with non-refundable $20.00 application fee)
to EGV Fire and Police Commision, 901 Wellington Ave., Elk Grove Village, IL 60007
(checks only, payable to Village of Elk Grove Village).
 
Walk-in Registration: Complete registration form on line, print it out and bring (with non-refundable $20.00 application fee)
to the Elk Grove Village Municipal Building, Finance Dept Window, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, IL
(cash, check or credit card) during normal business hours.*
*(M-F 8:30am-5:00pm, 1st Saturday each month 9am - noon)
