| Important Program Regulations: |
- Rake only leaves into the street. Grass, branches, and other debris damage equipment.
|
- Leaves should be raked onto the street only after 3:00 p.m. on the day before the collection and before 7:00 a.m. on the day of the collection. Leaves may be raked and stored in the parkway prior to the collection day.
|
- Leaves should be placed in a continuous row on the pavement about 24 inches from the curb.
|
- Parking on the street is prohibited on the day of the collection from 7:00 a.m. until the leaves are removed.
|
- No leaves should be placed on the pavement of any State, County or major Village roadway. Residents on Arlington Heights Rd., Landmeier Rd., Tonne Rd., Rev. Morrison Blvd., J.F. Kennedy Blvd., Wise Rd., Elk Grove Blvd. (from Tonne Rd. to Rev. Morrison) and Biesterfield Rd. should place their leaves on the parkway, close to the curb.
