The Village's annual Street Maintenance Program will begin in April and should be completed by the end of August. The maintenance program will include 6.6 miles of asphalt resurfacing of Village streets preceded by patchwork and storm sewer repairs. Also included is the removal and replacement of 6,750 lineal feet of deteriorated curb and gutter and 60,000 square feet of deteriorated residential and business park sidewalk. The program is funded by motor fuel tax funds, which are levied by the State and collected as part of the purchase price of gasoline and diesel fuel.
