NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ANNEXATION AGREEMENT
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois, will conduct a public hearing at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, in the Council Chambers of the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Complex, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, 60007 to consider, make recommendations concerning, and take public comment concerning, all as required by the applicable statutes of the State of Illinois, an annexation agreement, and an ordinance authorizing the execution approval of the same, by and between the Village of Elk Grove Village and LPC EGV I, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company commonly referred to as Logistics Property Company, LLC.

The property that is the subject of the annexation agreement is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village and not within the corporate boundaries of any municipality, consists of approximately 11.429 acres, and is legally described as follows:

It is proposed that the subject property be zoned I-1 upon annexation to facilitate a mixture of flexible office and industrial uses.  The annexation agreement will provide for certain variations that are stipulated within the agreement.  An accurate map of the subject property proposed to be annexed to the Village and the form of the proposed annexation agreement are on file with the Village Clerk and may be inspected during regular business hours.  You are further notified that the form of the proposed annexation agreement may be changed, altered, modified, amended or redrafted in its entirety after the public hearing.

Per state statute 65 ILCS 5/7-1-1, the annexed boundary shall extend to the far side of any adjacent highway and shall include all or every highway within the area annexed, and these highways shall be considered to be annexed even though not included in the legal description set forth in the petition for annexation.

All persons present at the public hearing will be afforded an opportunity to be heard.  Written comments may be submitted at the hearing or in advance of the hearing if provided to the attention of the Village Clerk, c/o Village of Elk Grove Village, at the address aforesaid and will be considered if received at least five (5) days prior to the hearing.  The Corporate Authorities reserve the right to continue the public hearing from time to time in accordance with the requirements of the Illinois Open Meetings Act by order or motion of the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois.
