Special Spring Leaf Collection

The Village is offering a special spring curbside leaf collection for ALL Village residents due to the late November snow storm that interrupted the extended fall leaf collection. The special spring leaf collection is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 1. The collection will take place over the period of one week. Leaves must be placed on the street by 7:00 a.m. on Monday.  Public Works will make one pass down all streets in the Village to collect leaves. Leaves placed after the deadline will not be collected.

If weather prohibits the Village from collecting leaves the week of April 1, the special leaf collection will be moved to the following week and begin on Monday, April 8, and the deadline to place leaves will also be moved to 7:00 a.m. on Monday, April 8. Information and updates regarding the special leaf collection will be posted on the Village website, social media channels (Facebook and Twitter), and electronic signs.

Should you have any questions or experience any problems with the program, please call the Public Works Department at (847) 734-8800, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

These scholarship are offered in partnership with the Village of Elk Grove and the Elk Grove Parks Foundation, which each typically provide two (2) scholarship awards annually. The Village of Elk Grove is able to offer three (3) additional scholarship awards thanks to the generosity of Mikerphone Brewing, who donated proceeds from their 2018 craft beer festival to support youth scholarships in the community.
