Play, Picnic & Party on Sunday, July 14!

The Village of Elk Grove, Elk Grove Park District, and Elk Grove Public Library are hosting the annual Play, Picnic, & Party on Sunday, July 14th from noon-5 pm. FREE activities include a rock climbing wall, obstacle course, inflatable water slide, dinosaur discovery, and musical performances hosted by the Park District and Library.  Picnic food will be available for purchase at family-friendly prices on the Village Green, and don't forget to stop by the Library for dessert at their ice cream social!

International Aerospace Leader Chooses Elk Grove Village as New Hub for US Operations

Elk Grove Village is pleased to announce that Broetje-Automation, world leader in automated manufacturing for the aerospace industry, has chosen to base its US operations at the new Elk Grove Technology Park. 

The company has signed a lease with Elk Grove Technology Park developers Brennan Investment Group to occupy more than 43,000 square feet in one of the four buildings currently under construction. The site will serve as Broetje-Automation’s U.S. headquarters and production facility for manufacturing and assembling robotic systems and automated composite manufacturing equipment.

Broetje-Automation is the Elk Grove Technology Park’s first tenant and is the type of company that Elk Grove Village leadership envisioned when it began the process of transforming land that was once Busse Farm into a high-tech manufacturing hub.

Village to Sell Single Family Residential Lot at 931 Mississippi Lane

The single-family residential lot at 931 Mississippi Lane, currently owned by the Village of Elk Grove, is now for sale. This vacant, single-family residential lot presents a unique opportunity for an interested buyer to design and build a custom single-family home in a desirable neighborhood. The purchase price for this 0.35 acre property has been set at $129,900 and the Village will begin accepting offers on July 22, 2019.

Elk Grove Fire Department Accepting Applications Through July 18, 2019!

The Elk Grove Village Fire Department is currently accepting applications. For details on how to apply, minimum requirements and testing information, please visit the Village website.  The application deadline is July 18, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.

 

Elk Grove Village and Elk Grove Park District are hosting the 10th annual "Unity Within the Community" Mid-Summer Classics Concert starting next week!  Kick off your Independence day celebrations with a concert by Big & Rich with Cowboy Troy, followed by the Lions Club 4th of July Fireworks at Rotary Green!

For the safety, comfort and convenience of attendees, please remember the use of tables, tarps, blankets or construction tape are not permitted at the concerts. The full concert line up and more information can be found on the Village website.

Vote for Your Favorite Mid-Summer Classics Concert Series Performance

The “Unity in the Community” Mid-Summer Classics Concert Series began in 2009, making this the eleventh annual concert series in the Village.  Over the past ten years, the concert series has brought numerous performers to the community, and now the Village wants residents to vote for their favorite!  Community members are invited to vote for their single most favorite concert from 2009 - 2019.  Click here to vote! 

The concert series continues for the rest of the month on Tuesdays in July with: The Commodores on July 16, Wynnona & the Big Noise on July 23, and Night Ranger on July 30.  For more information on the concerts, including parking information and answers to FAQs, please visit the Village website.
