Holiday Tree Lighting

Don’t forget to join us for a festive evening filled with music, treats, and new family-friendly activities at this year’s Holiday Tree Lighting on Friday, November 29 at Village Green!

Brand new this year is Storytime with the Board where Village Trustees will read classic holiday favorites, sharing tales that capture the spirit of the season and warm hearts of all ages. The Elk Grove Express is another new addition, a whimsical train ride for kids. Enjoy complimentary cookies, hot chocolate, and hot cider with your loved ones while enjoying live music from The Lovin’ Spoonful. Following the concert, Mayor Johnson will throw the switch to light up the Village’s Holiday Tree and turn on over 250,000 lights all around Village Green. A special fireworks display will follow. Families are invited to stay after the ceremony and fireworks to take a free photo with Santa!
