This week, the general contractor is scheduled to begin work on the replacement project for the culverts at the intersection of Wellington Avenue and Leicester Road. Leicester Road will be closed at this intersection during the construction period. Detour signage will be posted (see below for detour route).

Anticipated work includes installation of erosion control and the installation of sheet piling (soil retention wall made of steel sheets) with vibration monitoring to prevent damage to existing infrastructure. This sheet piling is used in preparation for the dewatering process (removing water from the construction site).
