Elk Grove Village Wins Excellence Awards for Economic Development Website

The Village earned an Excellence in Economic Development Gold Award from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), an award which celebrates leadership, innovation, and excellence in the economic development field. Additionally, the Village earned the Web Excellence Award, a globally recognized distinction that celebrates innovation, user experience, and digital creativity.
These awards recognize ElkGroveBusiness.org for its outstanding design and functionality. The site serves as a dynamic tool for businesses seeking opportunities in Elk Grove Village and features real-time property listings, detailed information on incentive programs, and key data to support business growth and investment decisions.

Annually, the IEDC Excellence Awards honor economic development organizations, government entities, initiatives, and programs that demonstrate consistent, exemplary performance in the field. Honorees lead transformational projects that revitalize communities and advance the practice of economic development. Organizations must submit an entry for consideration by a panel of judges, whom review the entry using multiple criteria such as creativity and innovation, relevance and transferability to other communities, and overall value or contribution to furthering economic development, among other criteria.
