Tree Watering Bags – Remove For Winter

Thank you to all those who participated in the parkway tree watering program this year! It is recommended that tree watering bags be removed during the winter for the health of the tree. Please call the Public Works Department at 847-734-8800 if you have any questions.

Arlington Heights Road Pedestrian Bridge Update

The new Arlington Heights Road Pedestrian Bridge is quickly coming to life. In mid-October, crews completed a brief road closure to lift the structural steel into place, and construction has continued since.

Once finished, the bridge will provide a safe, convenient, and nonstop passage between The Vue development area and the Busse Woods Forest Preserve for pedestrians and bicyclists. Please visit elkgrove.org/construction for information about this and other construction projects.
