Garbage & Recycling Will Be Collected Early This Week
Post Date:06/29/2026Due to the forecasted high temperatures, starting tomorrow, June 30, Groot will begin collections earlier than usual this week to help protect their crews from the extreme heat. Please place your garbage and recycling bins at the curb by 6 a.m. if possible. If you're unable to get your bins out before the usual collection start time of 7 a.m., don't worry—Groot will make another pass through the area later after 7 a.m. to collect missed carts. Starting earlier simply allows crews to complete more of their work during the cooler morning hours.
