Neighborhood Block Parties

The Village requires an application for a Block Party to be submitted 3 weeks prior to the event for review and processing. Surrounding neighbors must be notified of the party in advance and informed if any barricades will be blocking the street on the day of the party.

Police, Fire, and the Public Works departments will be notified through the application process to ensure that your party goes smoothly.

Live music or a DJ is allowed as long as the equipment is set up on private property.  This would also apply to any carnival-type equipment such as inflatable bounce houses or dunk tanks.  

Emergency vehicles must have access to the street and public access to the parks must remain open at all times.  Click here for the Block Party Rules and application.
