The Village is proud to partner with the Elk Grove Township Food Pantry on a community food drive to celebrate the Village's 70th Anniversary. Mayor Johnson challenged all Elk Grove Village residents, businesses and organizations to donate 19,560 items! And.....

We did it!  
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we not only met, but exceeded our 1956 Food Drive Challenge goal, collecting an amazing 20,280 items!   These donations will directly support families within Elk Grove Township, and we couldn’t have done it without each one of you. Your kindness is making a real difference!

This is a great opportunity for residents, employees, and community groups to come together and make a meaningful impact. We encourage everyone who can participate and help us support our neighbors while commemorating this important milestone in our village’s history.

The pantry is especially in need of non-perishable items, including:
• Jams and spreads
• Cooking oils
• Rice and pasta
• Condiments
• Soap and toothpaste
• Diapers and Toilet paper
While these items are most needed, any non-perishable food donations are welcome and appreciated.
