Licensed day care centers and in-homes in the Village are regularly inspected by the Environmental Health Division to ensure they meet safety and health standards. These facilities are required to maintain a valid license issued by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and the Village of Elk Grove in order to operate.
