Our Environmental Health Division regulates Retail Food Establishments (restaurants, grocers, temporary and mobile food, institutions, etc.) that serve or sell food or beverage products directly to the consumer. Wholesale/Manufactured Food Establishments are regulated by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Illinois Department of Agriculture (IDOA) or the U.S Department of Agriculture (USDA).
