Project Updates
July 3, 2025: This week, the county continued concrete work on the section of Landmeier Road between Arlington Heights Road and Busse Road, along with electrical work/traffic signal improvements at the Arlington Heights Rd. & Landmeier Rd. intersection. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Full depth concrete patches will continue to be removed and replaced.
May 2, 2025: Beginning next week, eastbound Landmeier and the median will be closured as the project begins to stage traffic for full-depth concrete patches. One lane traffic in both directions will be pushed to the westbound lanes on the north side of Landmeier. Reduced lanes should be expected for the duration of construction operations on the section of Landmeier Road, east of Cambridge Drive.
April 25, 2025: Cook County is scheduled to begin improvements on Landmeier Road next week, starting with the section between Cambridge Drive and Higgins Road. This phase of the project includes curb and gutter replacement, sidewalk upgrades, concrete patching, and a new asphalt overlay. A second phase—covering the stretch between Arlington Heights Road and Busse Road—is expected to begin later in June.
