Sustainability Action Plan
The Village has created a Sustainability Action Plan intended to formalize the Village’s commitment to sustainability and create a healthier environment for the Elk Grove Village community, as well as to create guiding principles for the Village to expand sustainability efforts.
This document contains a list of sustainability-related action items that can be implemented in the Village by staff as opportunities arise. Action items are not limited to those included within the Action Plan, rather, they reflect the most relevant and feasible possibilities the Village may pursue as of the publication of this plan.
It is the Village’s hope that residents and other members of the Elk Grove Village community will consider participating in some of these action items and work together to improve the health of our local environment and our community.
